a 1/1 acrylic painting and ink drawing on glass over a photograph of my cousins. a bag can be seen pulled over the head of a girl with a scaly arm, sat beside her is a young boy with 3 eyes, glancing at her seemingly unphased.

the piece takes what was once a nice moment between sibings on a christmas day, a photo that was sent out to our family sometime in the early 90s, and instead depicts 2 children who despite the average looking surroundings are quite abnormal. regardless of this, their posture and the one face we are able to view tell us that this is only strange to us.

note that the frame is scuffed from being transported, as is the case with most sketchnate pieces. the history of the piece is as important to the artwork as what it shows us, and so whatever happens to the pieces is part of the piece.
