a skateboard to be hung on the wall or ridden if chosen. painted with dry pastel acrylics on an old skateboard, 'her' features the portrait of a woman split in to pieces, held apart by golden rods. this piece was one of the final strides in my 'split portrait' series, most of which were done digitally.

the history of the piece is as important to the artwork as what it shows us, and so whatever happens to the pieces is part of the piece.
