a 1/1 acrylic piece on 11x17" canvas. it is painted over the artwork of an ex girlfriend who had a great effect on the way i see myself and was of great help early in my career. the piece is one of a couple that marks my return to this style of white on black, and features many characters and themes from my work during the time of the relationship.

themes of loss, togetherness, mystery and adventure are prevalent in this piece. looking at it, the viewer can get lost in the busy maze of lines that make up the characters and words that occupy it.
